With the NCAA Tournament now on recess for a few days, the coaching merry-go-round is starting to spin again. Monday saw several vacancies filled, more created and rumors of still more to possibly come. The biggest moves both came in the Big 12, where TCU hired former Pittsburgh coach Jamie Dixon and Oklahoma State landed Stephen F. Austin’s Brad Underwood.
Observations on Seton Hall’s 2-0 start
Seton Hall started the season with a weekend homestand, and took full advantage by winning both games. Some thoughts from the two games follows.
2014-15 Ivy League Post-Mortem
While the Ivy League remained a solid league this past season, it also went from five postseason teams to just two, in part because of a dramatic finish to the regular season.

It was a great night for a few players in the Ivy League while the race evened up. Plus the Horizon League has a regular season champion, the Gators have some personnel questions, and the Miners will be short a coach on what will be a very busy day of action.
Improving Dartmouth tries to keep building as Ivy play approaches
Dartmouth is now establishing their identity as Ivy League play approaches. This is an important year for their core, and they can certainly be competitive this year as their players continue to mature.

Tuesday night was ready to be pronounced as quite the dud, one of the more disappointing nights of the young season so far when it comes to anticipated games not being competitive.

Dartmouth is starting to look like a team that can contend, rather than an upstart. They are older, but they are also more mature and starting to show that come game time.
