Tuesday featured a quality slate of games in college basketball, a deserved honor for a longtime television voice, and a near miss in the first attempt at a major milestone for another basketball lifer.
The Super Bowl has an unlikely champion, as college basketball has had on occasion, as well as a story of perseverance. Plus a couple of overtime games were played, and a couple of teams dropped close ones.

What a difference a couple days makes. A week ago, there was debate of whether Duke might be as good or better than Kentucky, but the Blue Devils have now lost twice in three days.
Sunday was not a good day to be a top ten team, especially on the road, as three of them went down and reminded us that nothing in college basketball is guaranteed.
