Early wins at Notre Dame and Texas brought attention to and raised expectations for Radford this season, but also served as reminders of what they have to do to repeat as Big South champions and get back to the NCAA Tournament.

After being in many close games, Radford was ready to win the one that mattered most
Radford has made the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2009, after which there was a tough time. It took a lot of close games for the current group to grow into a winner, to the point where they are very much at home in such games.
