In the early going, the standings in one conference look very little like the preseason poll, especially with the lone undefeated team having a nice lead. Plus the Mountaineers win a slugfest, a Blue Devil is out for a while and another ACC player succumbs to a constant source of pain for the season.
The Final Four is set after an amazing comeback and another team having a little too much for the opponent. Plus a head coach leaves after a long time at one school, more coaching changes, and a championship game is set in another tournament.
A program that once couldn’t win now has a bright future and got a nice win on Sunday. Plus another relative newcomer gives a powerhouse a battle, and a couple of other noteworthy results on a slow day.
Membership changes have been happening at quite a pace of late in the Sun Belt, and it was a new member that stole the show for much of this past season and seems poised to lead the way in the future.
