On a day where a football team in the same area grabbed everyone’s attention, an ACC team got their first conference win in fine fashion. Plus a healthy win this time around in the Big East, the Hawkeyes seemingly couldn’t miss, and one team continues to dominate of late in a Pac-12 series.

2017-18 Pac-12 Post-Mortem
From before the season right to the bitter end, 2017-18 was a season to forget for the Pac-12. It can only get better from here for all of them, or so we think, and it gets really interesting trying to look ahead save for one idea: next season will be better.

After another impressive performance in the final game of the 2018 National Invitation Tournament, the springboard has officially been set for Penn State next season.
NIT final: Penn State 82, Utah 66 – courtside observations
The NIT Final was just the second all-time meeting between the participating schools, and the prior one occurred in the same arena. The end result was the same as the first, and it was very similar to the winning team’s most recent game in that it was a convincing win.
NIT Semifinal: Utah 69, Western Kentucky 64 – Courtside observations
Utah and Western Kentucky played a close game for most of their NIT semifinal contest, with the Utes pulling it out late.
