The 2019-20 season was as competitive as expected in the CAA both in the regular season and the conference tournament. In the end, the winner of both was a team that had been close before and finally broke through.

After a coaching change led to several key transfers, many felt William & Mary were destined to be closer to the bottom than the top of the CAA this season. By emphasizing relationships and chemistry, the Tribe has instead been a pleasant surprise through early CAA play.
2018-19 CAA Post-Mortem
The 2018-19 CAA went as expected to a large degree, though a few details were a bit different. The postseason has seen some notable transactions that should shake things up ahead of next season.
