Presenting our annual list of what we simply call our list of teams to keep an eye on coming into the season. Some fall in the category of up-and-coming teams or sleeper picks. Some are powers. Some are just teams we enjoy watching. In most cases, we just think these are teams you’re going to be hearing from before the end of this year.

2016-17 Ivy League Post-Mortem
Despite injuries, Princeton ran through the league without a loss this year, obscuring the fact that the league has a lot of good young talent and may be starting a new up cycle.

Middle Tennessee State carved out a place in college basketball history in March when it posted one of the biggest upsets in NCAA Tournament history by knocking out Michigan State. This year’s Blue Raiders are not the same team as last year’s group, though. They very well might be better.
